AUTUMN
Basic
☒ Earth Manipulation
Manipulate the earth/soil/rocks. The user is able to crack the ground or fix the cracks with their powers and dig without tools. Able to lift pieces of earth in air and keep them there.
☒ Earth Creation
Create earth/soil/rocks and have complete control over it. Able to levitate pieces of earth in the air.
□ Move Unmovable Objects
The ability to move something that has been deemed "unmovable" like rock formations that have been stuck on earth or even small mountains. The bigger the thing the more magical energy it takes.
☒ Seismic Sense
User can sense movement by touching the ground and determine how far something is or how many are approaching the place they're in.
□ Ask Animals for Small Favors
The user can ask animals for favors. If the favor seems impossible to do, the animals won't even attempt it. The smaller the favor the more likely they will help out. Baby animals are harder to persuade into anything because of their short attention span. Does not let them understand animal talk, but they will have a vague understanding of if the animal will help or not.
Kokichi is unable to sleep at all unless knocked out due to being a Naphil. Character is able to go on for days without sleeping with no consequences. The max. is 3 full days or 70 hours.
☒ One Way Telepathy (Single Target)
A one way connection to another person's mind. Starts of as a very small distance, like across a standard size two-sided highway. With practice and with the character getting more magical energy reserves, the distance will grow. The maximum distance is around 3 miles / 2 kilometres. This is achieved at the earliest in three months - around the time characters start learning advanced skills. The use of magical energy says roughly the same no matter the distance. The user can also send "what they see" to others, but it takes more magical energy.
☒ Block Sounds (Self)
The ability to completely block all sounds, basically making themselves deaf for a while. Great for when you need a moment to be in peace. Lasts for a max. time of 5 hours per ability use.
Advanced
☒ Absolute Balance
Character cannot be knocked off balance by anything. Passive ability.
□ Act as Lightning Rod
The ability to draw all electric magic and natural lightning to the user and neutralize it. Cannot redirect the current otherwise. May change the users' eyes into glowing yellow for a while after being struck.
□ Earthquake
Create tremors through the ground, big enough to shatter the ground and shake everything in close vicinity. Works anywhere there's ground underneath, including under material such as concrete.
□ Wood/Metal Manipulation
The ability to manipulate wood and metal into different shapes and use them as projectiles through air. Can be used to sharpen either into weapons or the other way around.
□ Create Soundless Space
The ability to create a space large enough to fit four others that blocks sounds. Good for blocking sound based attacks or letting people have a peaceful moment together in silence. Lasts for a max. of 5 hours. The people inside can leave, but no one else can enter the space.
□ Dreamwalking
The user is able to observe a dream of another, without being able to interfere. Requires physical contact.
□ Ripen Food
The user can turn a completely or partially raw food item and make it ripe enough to eat. If used on an already ripe item it will turn overripe.
□ One Way Telepathy (Multi-Target)
A one way connection with a group of people. Starts of as a very small distance, like across a standard size two-sided highway. With practice and with the character getting more magical energy reserves, the distance will grow. The maximum distance is around 3 miles / 2 kilometres. This is achieved at the earliest in three months. The longer distance you use for a group the faster magical energy depletes. The user can also send "what they see" to others, but it takes more magical energy.
Highly Advanced
□ Astral Projection
The user is able to leave their body, projecting an astral version of themselves onto the world. Their body is left in a protective barrier while the projection is out. The astral projection can be seen by those who see spirits and ghosts, but not by anyone else. Great for spying. The user can spend a maxim. of 6 hours outside their body before they're forcefully dragged back by the magic.
□ Dream Manipulation
The user is able to manipulate the dream of another and participate in it. Requires physical contact.
□ Hypnotic Suggestion
The ability to make others do things for them by giving them small suggestions. If what the person is asked to do fights against all they believe in, they're less likely to obey the suggestion. The more vulnerable someone's mind is the easier it will be to use the ability on them.
DRAGON BLESSED
Basic
□ Metal Detection
Find where metal is nearby, even when buried.
□ Statue Creation/Animation
Forms a statue construct from stone that the user can command. By default, the statue will protect its creator. It can be dispelled and returned to stone at any time.
□ Turn Sand to Stone/Stone to Sand
Transform sand to rock or vice versa, even if it isn't sedimentary rock originally.
□ Wood/Metal Creation
Create wood or metal. Does not extend to creating live plants.
□ Two Way Telepathy
A two-way connection to another person's mind. Starts off at a very small distance, like across a standard size two-sided highway. With practice and with the character getting more magical energy reserves, the distance will grow. The maximum distance is around 3 miles / 2 kilometres. This is achieved at the earliest in three months. The use of magical energy stays roughly the same no matter the distance. The user can also send "what they see" to others, but it takes more magical energy. When learned, applies automatically to any bond that already has the One-Way Telepathy skill applied.
□ Charm Weaker Monsters
Charms monsters to obey the user. Starts out only able to command threat level 0 monsters. With practice and with the character's magic growing, can increase up to threat level 4 monsters. Doesn't apply to any monster with a Darkness aura.
☒ No Fall Damage
Take no damage from falling, no matter how far. Passive ability.
□ Magic Damage Reducing Shield
User is wreathed in a shielding aura that reduces damage taken from magical attacks. Does not affect physical damage. Shield lasts up to ten minutes.
Advanced
□ Charm Animals
Charms all animals to help the user, regardless of whether they would normally consider or attempt it. Ability is much weaker against transformed power holders.
□ Gem Creation
Create gemstones and have complete control over them. They can be enhanced for magic use with the same spells as regular gemstones.
□ Gravity Manipulation
Control over gravity and mass. The ability to make things much heavier, or much lighter. For example, a single feather can weigh as much as a brick, or a a brick as light as a feather. All items will still have mass and gravitational pull. This does not allow for floating.
□ Magnetism
Control magnetic forces to attract or repel magnetic metals to/from a target. Can be combined with metal manipulation.
High Risk
□ Beyond Limits
When this skill is activated, the user is able to ignore pain and even continue on with serious wounds. However, when the skill is shut off or the ten-minute time limit elapses, all effects of their wounds kick in at once. User can continue despite mortal wounds.
□ Permanent Psychic Link
Permanently connect to another's mind. The user and the person on the other end of the mind link are able to share thoughts and feelings at any time and at any range. As the bond becomes stronger, the psychic link is also able to share physical feelings. Intense feelings may come through without even intending to send them (including unwanted ones like experiencing intense pain/death).
□ Turn to Stone
The user turns their body to stone temporarily, making them immune to most attacks. If the user breaks or takes damage in this form, the damage carries over when they return to normal. Separate from the involuntary petrification that comes from lack of touch energy.
SEASONAL CYCLE & OTHERS
Winter
□ Mist
Turn water in the air into a vision obscuring mist. Can also be used as a way to make rooms damper where necessary. Mist usually remains cool in temperature.
Spring
□ Razor Sharp Wind
The ability to manipulate air into sharp enough gusts to cut down trees - and with practice even rocks. The gusts may glow when being used as blades.
Summer
□ Walk Through Fire
The ability to walk through any fire unharmed. Makes the user also immune to fire attacks and burn effects. Ability lasts for up to 5 hours per use.
